While walking through my local woods in the rain last Saturday, I decided to leave the path and walk under the canopy of leaves. In Japan they call these first leaves of spring "shinryoku" which means "new green" or verdure. As I was looking up through all the layers of leaves the rain stopped and the sun came out and I got this shot. This is my favorite green in the world.
