We had a spring snowstorm in Colorado that dumped over 2 feet of snow in some areas. This elusive snowshoe hare had hunkered down for the three days of the storm. Feeling the need to come out and smell the fresh air this hare posed for me for about 30 seconds before she took off to forage in the backcountry of Rocky Mountain National Park.
