A visit to the northern part of Philippines in the region of Ilocos Norte brought me to the site of the famous Kapurpurawan rock formation. A journey by an 8-hour overnight bus ride to Vigan, followed by a 2 hours drive up north brought me to this picturesque sight- a lone wild horse grazing on the empty field, oblivious to the crowd heading towards the rock formation in the background.
