The turtle climbs out of the water to dry himself in the sun. I had the honor of having one of these guys as a pet. This on is a wild turtle living in a local pond. It was lovely being this close to one only weeks after mine past away. I pray to God and hope my amazing pet will be in heaven, because with out my pets and wildlife it would not be heaven.
