I had taken a walk down at the beach area as the sun went down. I saw these two gulls and noticed that one was looking at the moon, while the other gull was looking at the sun going down. The Western Gulls live on the west coast of North America from British Columbia to Baja California. It is rare for them to be away from the ocean. They nest on rocks along the coast and offshore islands.
