    Edit Photo Details Albinism in the Gambia: Muhammed   #africa #boy #color #travel #unique #albino #gambia #albinism #thealbinisimsocietyofthegambia
This is a photo of Muhammed, a 16-year old boy with albinism I recently interviewed for the Albinism Society of the Gambia. He told me that he dreams of becoming a pilot one day because he wants to show the world that people like him are capable of doing as much as anyone else. I was amazed by how articulate he was, explaining to me the plight of people with albinism in the Tanzania who are killed and maimed for their body parts to make money. He also told me that girls like him.
