Edit Photo Details Heavy rains, flood warnings   #water
On Onion Creek, at McKinney Falls State Park, heavy rains resulted in flood warnings. The park was deserted, but it was not raining when I arrived. The river was high, but not dangerously so. I enjoyed taking photos of the high water, where last year it was nearly dry from a long drought in central Texas. With climate change we see extremes in weather--sometimes drought, sometimes weather warnings for heavy rains and flooding.
