The night's snow and morning rains gave way to a break in the weather on the Cordillera Blanca, Peru. The morning sun seem to unlocked the moisture all at once, turning the trail into a small stream, and making for slow going as we climbed up towards Punta Union at 4750m. The jagged peak of Tawllirahu rises before us, confirming our goal.
