    After spending multiple days bicycling the Tuscany open countryside, I looked out our hotel window shortly after checking in. What I saw was this strikingly different view of the landscape. But then something really struck me, and you have to look closely to see this, or rather not see it. Here I am in the heart of a crowded city in the middle of the day and there are no people in this photo - no one! Only tiled roofs leading up to the Siena Duomo.
