In March I made my first visit to Chincoteague Island, located on Virginia's Eastern Shore. Probably known most for their herds of wild horses, I'm glad they had other interesting things because, in spite of two days of hiking and driving around, I only saw ONE horse. I did see lots of various water fowl and I made a point of photographing the sunset and sunrise over the water (a treat for me). This sunrise shot over the Atlantic was about 12 minutes after the sun first appeared on the horizon.
