Leopard in repose, Namibia.
This was taken in fading light in the late afternoon in the 20,000 hectare Okonjima Nature Reserve in Namibia. This image was a combination of happenstance, accident and pure luck. The leopard was resting in waist-high grass, and surprisingly easy to spot and approachable in a vehicle. It yawned, and thanks to a combination of fading light, trebly hands (I had to shoot fast, and handheld) I managed to both capture its sense of wildness and a sense of motion and coil, even though it was at rest.
