I was drinking coffee on the deck at the hotel when I spotted a mother with her baby porpoise playing and feeding in the surf very close to the beach. My D610 with the 500mm was already mounted to the tripod so I shot this image. They continued to play around for about 30 minutes. It was wonderful to get the opportunity to watch them.
