One of my favorite activities when we travel to any place close to the ocean is to watch and photograph the shore birds. I watched this Snowy Egret for close to an hour as it hunted for small fish in the tide pools. As the tide was coming back in the egret avoided the incoming waves by making short flights from one rocky outcrop to another. What an absolute joy to watch!
