    An intense lightning storm rolled through the Salt Lake valley on May 8, 2016. It was the real first lightning storm that we've had so far this year (2016). The bolts traversed what seemed like the entire valley with a single bolt running north and south for miles. Here is one of the better shots, the lightning continued out of the frame to the left (North) and to the right (South). Photographed from the safety of my balcony in West Jordan, Utah.
