A cleaning crew, appeared to be free standing, was washing the exterior titanium-accented glass dome of the Giant Egg (National Centre for the Performing Arts, China) as if an easy task - cake walk. There are >18,000 titanium plates and > 1,000 sheets of ultra-white glass giving a high rate of light transmission to the interior. Being completely surrounded by an artificial lake the dome looks like an egg floating on water, or simply a water drop.
