Serene and beautiful! That's exactly how lake Gurudongmar looks like in the morning. The lake is located at approx 17,800 ft above the sea level in the lap of the Himalayas. It is about 3.5 hours drive from a village called Lachen in North Sikkim district, Sikkim, India. We had a terribly rough ride on the rugged mountainous terrains, but in the end it was a rewarding experience with a view like this.
