I had an opportunity to get out to Banff on a clear night with a 3/4 moon. I would normally shoot on the edges of the night but decided to try doing some moonscapes of some of my favorite places. Castle Mountain stands mid-point between Banff and Lake Louise and is a beautiful mountain that looks like a fortress. The glow on the right is from Castle Junction. The only exit off the parkway onto the Trans Canada.
