Yellow-Barred Flutterer. (Rhyothemis phyllis.) Found throughout Singapore. Males and females are similar. Eyes reddish brown on top and light brown below. Thorax and abdomen are dark, slightly metallic, almost black. Bases of the hind wings have a distinctive barred pattern of yellow, dark brown and deep metallic blue.
