Waning daylight hours
Upon my first time at this ever-so-spoken-about beach, the energy of La Jolla struck me. The land was respected by the people, tourists and local alike. It's as if the brisk wind and calming waves gave them no other option but to honor such a powerful presence. The beached seals had plenty of photos taken of them sure, but the spirit of wonder in the sunset hours was alive nonetheless.
