This extremely memorable encounter with the Ntambara mountain gorilla family happened on a Sunday morning in August 2015, after a two-hours hike through the Volcanoes National Park from Kinigi to their feeding place up the Virunga mountain bordering with DR Congo. While the picture shows eight family-members including the very youngest (small in the middle, hugged by his mum) and very eldest, the second Silverback of the Ntambara family is eating leaves some meters to our right.
