As I mentioned in my previous photo, the Asian short-clawed otter is the smallest species of otter in the world. The adult otters that I saw at the Bronx Zoo last week were pretty small as far as otters go, but the baby otter that was there was really small! Small and cute, that is! ....and incredibly playful (but so were the adults, for that matter)! This photo is all about the baby!
