A non-native gecko on St Helena Island in the South Atlantic. Due to the history of the East India Company these will have arrived by trading ships in the 19th or 18th century. Initially their diet would have composed of the numerous native and endemic invertebrate species of the island but is more likely to be composed of other non-native species today, though they have been seen eating some of the island's endemic moths.
