During my visit to Grays Harbor, I was walking back from the shore. Along the paved trail I could hear the small chirps from baby birds. I found myself stalking a particular nest, waiting for mama bird to show up. Her babies were constantly bobbing in and out awaiting her arrival. I knew if I was patient enough she would come. I waited and waited almost ready to give up. I realized that I might be to close, I stepped back several feet and within moments she flew in. Her babies were ready.
