    Whenever I travel, I pick up on details that I might take for granted at home in Canada. When I passed by this woman in a rural village outside of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, I was drawn to her immediately. Originally shooting a documentary, I took the time to ask her if she wouldn't mind having her photo taken. She seemed to smile with her eyes, unaffected by my camera as she leaned against the entrance to her home. Everything just clicked. This was the photo.
