This was an incredibly gray day with a light mist and low clouds. The tallest tower was hidden in the clouds, while the others just missed. This was not converted to black and white, it's just such a gray day and the buildings had little color of their own that it looks that way. It wouldn't have had the same impact on a sunny day.
