As we were travelling A-7 highway through Mikumi National Park, our safari vehicle suddenly slowed down & stopped middle of the highway our guide said "look ,elephants are crossing".From SUVs to giant 18-wheeled trailers, every single vehicle had to come to a dead stop right in the middle of the highway as the gentle giants decided to take to cross the road. There is a road sign,if your car hit a wild animal like elephant you would be fined 15000$,giraffe15000$,zebra12000$,leopard3500$ &so on..
