Over a small hill in Theodor National Park in Medora, ND. These strong mares and stallions stand watch over nursing fouls. I saw an older gentleman get closer and closer to this large white stallion overlooking a nursing mare. I belive that a ranger came out and told him to stand at least 23 meters away from them. It does make sense ... because they are wild. It must be an interesting job to work at a National Park. I was very happy to get to see and experience wild horses in Theodor NP.
