Cultivated Wildflowers?
The entrance to the Cape May Migratory Bird Refuge is an oxymoron -- it has beautiful flowers growing in a field around the parking lot that appear to be wildflowers growing in and among the tall grasses, but my wife believes that they have actually been planted there. My preference is to believe that they are growing there wild, but my wife is probably right! Either way, the sun hitting the fields and the flowers the day of our visit was stunning!
