We were exploring near Snow Lake in northern Manitoba when we spotted this coyote hunting close to the highway. Because he was a young, inexperienced fellow he didn't alarm at our approach. I was able to stop our vehicle, open the window and point my ever ready DSLR in his direction. Since he didn't alarm, I was able to choose the moment of my shot. He soon tired of us and trotted off into the underbrush.
