    Reported by:

Recently took the family out for dessert and an evening walk on the beach. On the other side of the road lies the North Carolina historic site of Ft. Fisher, which played a key role in the Civil War. Just south of the ramparts, in an amazing grove of twisted Oak trees, I came across these friends relaxing. I was surprised for the 10 minutes I was there, how content they were to sit in silence and simply watch the sunset. Such a cool way to spend an evening at the beach.

Wish I was in one of those hammocks right now. Smart framing to include the trees on the sides and to stand so that the lone tree in the middle wasn’t crashing into one of the people. Beautiful evening light that makes the people and their hammocks glow.
