When I was little, my Irish grandmother spoiled me with gifts of books. Visiting Vancouver's Van Dusen Botanical Garden last month, these dainty orchids brought to mind one particular book, with tales of fairies and elves woven around a woodland garden. Beautiful flowers, and even better memories.
