    The Sanja Matsuri (三社祭) is an important shinto festival in Tokyo that occurs every May in the neighborhoods of Asakusa - after carrying the mikoshi along the streets of Asakusa, the participants finally arrive at the Sensō-ji temple, where they will receive the blessings for the year.
