We started our hike mid-morning. It was a cloudy day which included rain on and off for the first couple of hours. Along the route, we stopped under a large boulder to have lunch. As we were finishing up, the clouds started to break. Not far from a great viewpoint we quickly headed that way, the rain persisted but so did we. Once we got to our location we knew if they clouds did open up, we would be in for a treat. I shot this image in between cleaning the raindrops off my lens.
