Walking Rosh HaNikra
Exploring the stunning geological creation of Rosh HaNikra caverns and grottoes carved out by the Mediterranean Sea. The Cairo, Haifa, to Beirut rail line dug in 1943 is also located here, the meeting point of the Lebanese and Israeli border and the farthest point north along the coast of Israel. In 56 A.D. the Romans began the construction of a road along the coast that was declared as a colony by Claudius which connected Acre with Antiochia.
