A very Guyanese Easter
we Guyanese celebrate Easter like no other. kids and their families flock to the seawalls to fly kites, usually to avoid power lines. lately a more popular location has begun to draw crowds, this is a large field usually used for athletics just a few minutes from my house. this year some of my family came to visit from Canada and the USA including my sisters, uncle, aunt and cousins. here my older cousin is attempting to tame his son`s kite while the others are doing...well...something.
