Farrier Day
About once every month, our farrier comes and trims four of our horses hooves. This particular hoof belongs to Tabe, our imported dutch friesian. What I really liked about this photo was the bandages on his fingers. He said that when you hold the horses foot for that long, it puts a lot of pressure on the tendons. So the doctor told him to wrap tape around his fingers. It seems to stop it from being too painful when he picks up four hooves that belong to a 1,200lb animal.
