The extremely hot volcanic flows in Hawaian Islands advance the land into the ocean and the cooler water of surface waves make lava bend up making an appearance of dragons theeth. The rough North Maui waters are relentless and over hundreds of years have worn these teeth formations down and some are disappearing under these ferocious currents at Maui's Northern most tip end.
