An evening game drive into the backwater of Kabini yielded no predator which is always on the top of one's mind when they enter the forest. We go about our usual spots beside the kabini backwater to listen to the forest and during summers are a good place to find a lot of animals. In this case it was a herd of deer and this elephant mother and calf, lit by the golden light of the sun gave us mesmerizing frames.
