Our short stay at Bandipur had come to an end without any sighting of a large predator. The climate was gloomy with continuous, unrelenting downpour of rain. We were packing up our bags to leave when a hunting party of birds just started in front of our balcony and we clicked away, leading to an extended stay for one more night. That was the best decision we took as the next safari we were with Prince as he is called for the entire duration of the safari.
