It was Friday night at the High Sierra Music Festival and I had just arrived after a long trip into the Sierra Nevada from Sacramento, It was 108 degrees when we left the city. There is a gathering of people splashing in the hose water behind this couple as the blazing sun finally set. I got pulled into a tent by a professional photographer who was watching me shoot, and as we discussed techniques the lighting was perfect to catch this moment of hippie love.
