This photo was taken when I was freshly off my flight from Johannesburg, South Africa to Lilongwe, Malawi. In the middle of the image there are several small mud-brick huts that the Malawians would dwell in. Because they are constructed of mud, they must reapply I thin coat of mud to the hut once a week.
