When Serengeti National Park rangers found the dead elephant baby, they quickly went out to investigate. After checking the body, they concluded that it was a natural death, and poachers had not been involved. Just in case, they took the tusks with them to prevent them ending up in the ivory trade. At the point when I took this picture, the elephant had been dead for over a day. Most of the meat was picked away, and only vultures and the crane(?) were left (please comment if you know the type).
