Great Blue Heron Silhouette
Twitter: @ADouglasPhotos - I learned from pro photographers early in my career when shooting professional sports to shoot the equipment I have, not the gear I wished I had, It's so tempting to try to get more "reach" by cropping in because your lens is much shorter than the guy next to you. I applied the same logic to light: Shoot the light you have, not what you wished you had. Rather than try to bring the heron out in post, make a silhouette.
