    Reported by:

Alamere Falls is a rare tidefall, one of two waterfalls in California that falls directly onto the beach below and into the Pacific Ocean. The hike to the falls is approximately 13 miles round trip, but can be reduced to a little over 8 miles if you take a short cut. The short cut is through an unmaintained trail and involves some mild rock climbing.
