Kingdom: Amoebozoa (not a fungus) Myxomycetes, often called slime mold, are simple organisms that consist of an acellular mass of creeping jellylike protoplasm containing nuclei, or a mass of ameboid cells. When they reach a certain size it forms a large number of spore cases.
