    今尾の左義長 (Imao-no-Sagicho) is a Japanese traditional fire festival. It take place in Kaizu city (Gifu prefecture) at Akiba Shrine, every February from 400 years ago. It is said that burning old amulets 'kadomatsu' for the new year and pacifying it's fire, will bring about good health and harvest.
