I went bird watching at my usual birding site in Samar Island, Philippines. The place was very quiet and birds were out of site. After hours of waiting I decided to go home. As I was walking down the mountain frustrated a blur of blue caught my attention. Lo and behold, this bird was perched ready to be photographed. After a few clicks this pitta went into hiding.
