    Reported by:

The Swallow-tailed Kite is a bird of prey and is 19.7 to 25.2 inches long and has a wingspan of 48 inches. The male gathers food for the young and returns to the nest and gives the food to the female who tears it up and feeds the babies. The bird has a forked tail and glides over tree tops searching for insects, frogs, snakes, and nestlings to eat.
