I spent quite some time visiting this elderly nun and her monk friend in a raised bamboo hut in a remote mountain village of Myanmar. I think we all enjoyed each other's company. After sipping tea and trying our best to communicate, they momentarily allowed me to snap a portrait. As I bid them farewell, I wondered what it must be like to be at the final phase of a life lived holy.
