The Kissing Rocks is the most iconic landmark and is located in the southwest part of Halong Bay, about 5 kilometers away from the tourist harbor. 1 kilometer after having passed DinhHuong Islet, you will see 2 giant rocks emerge in the distant background resembling the image of 2 chickens being in love. The two islets reaches an equal height of 10 meters above the sea level. This resemblance explains the local name HonTrong Mai with Trong and Mai means Rooster and Hen respectively.
